Donald Trump just issued an executive order attempting to cancel federal funding for NPR. This is a dangerous and unprecedented attack on independent journalism – the cornerstone of our democracy.

His goal is clear: he wants public radio off the air. This is political retaliation against fair, balanced journalism. And I won’t stand for it.
